It is very hard to find a good book on hot process soap making, though there are several on the cold process technique. The information that is available on the hot process method of soap making is generally bundled into a book that addresses primarily the cold process. I couldn't even find recommendations on what size of crock pot is needed in my search for information. This e-book has very clear directions and I like that it emphasizes the qualities (such as lather and moisturizing abilities) and healthfulness of the soap rather than the appearance (such as colors and designs). I also like being able to use more common and less expensive ingredients rather than some of the more exotic and expensive fats. There is a "basic" soap recipe given and then the author instructs the readers in several ways to customize the soaps to suit their needs. This book is exactly what I was looking for!! This was a good book but I can find the same information on YouTube.
